Museum of Bećarac
Pleternica, CroatiaBećarac is a traditional vocal-instrumental song that comments on everyday life situations in a vivid and provocative way, and it also acts as a social corrective. Through modern tools of interpretation, visitors are told about Bećarac as a link between tradition and modernity, a medium that gives people a sense of belonging, it connects different lifestyles and ages.
The scenography is inspired by Slavonia in all its distinctive features; the wealth of colors, shapes and textures symbolizes the culture of Slavonia. Traditional costumes with rich embroidery are the inspiration for the visual identity and spatial design, that is constructed from perforated sheets to connote the volume and texture of the fabric. Exhibiton content is woven into the spatial elements, just as Bećarac is woven into the lives of Slavonians.
The AVC Group, along with its partners, completed the equipping of the Museum with AV/IT equipment, lighting equipment, product design elements, and graphic elements, as well as the full production of textual, visual, and multimedia content and applications.
