GENELEC 9401A
System Management Device

Description

For audio professionals using Audio-over-IP (AoIP) connectivity, the Genelec 9401A System Management Device enables the smooth integration of Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers (SAM™) into SAM system layouts, from stereo to immersive, using ST2110, AES67 and Ravenna streams as the source – while offering full support for room adaption from powerful Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) software. The Genelec 9401A works by converting AoIP streams (ST2110, AES67 and Ravenna) into AES/EBU outputs, providing 16 channels of digital audio over the unit's DB25 connector, which can be input into Genelec SAM Monitoring systems. The 9401A also includes a dedicated subwoofer output and flexible auxiliary stereo monitoring output. The 9401A is fully compatible with Genelec UNIO Platform, which supports bridging of in-room and personal headphone monitoring with maximal accuracy.
