The new Tascam FR-AV2 field recorder is capable of the highest resolutions up to 192 kHz and 32-bit float as well as timecode and audio monitoring via Bluetooth. With the FR-AV2’s advanced 32-bit float recording at up to 192 kHz, you’ll never have to scrap a recording because of distorted or weak audio levels. When recording at lower bit depths, such as 24-bit and 16-bit, loud sound sources can cause digital clipping that cannot be fixed later. Dual analogue-to-digital converter technology captures recordings with greater dynamic range and clarity. Up to five devices can be controlled via the Tascam Recorder Connect app for iOS/Android devices.
