The world-renowned annual tech show for the system integration and audiovisual industry ISE 2025 took place this february in Barcelona. Genelec took the opportunity of bringing a fully immersive Smart IP listening experience to the show, they rank as one of the busiest and most productive events they have ever participated in. At the heart of the Genelec booth was a 7.1.4 immersive Smart IP loudspeaker system, where listeners could experience a pre-programmed and carefully curated audio demonstration that showcased Smart IP on-wall and pendant loudspeaker models, complemented by the new 3440A PoE subwoofer. This rolling demo program enabled a huge number of visitors to experience the exceptional sound quality of Smart IP technology. Genelec is very pleased to announce, that the 3440A Smart IP subwoofer had been recognised with two show awards. Firstly, Commercial Integrator Magazine in the US judged the 3440A as winner of the TNT (Top New Technology) award in the Audio Components category, while the judges at Europe’s Installation Magazine chose the 3440A for a prestigious ISE Best of Show award.
